The ASD Adults group is a non-clinical social gathering where members of the AS/HFA community can come together in a public space to socialize over food and to discuss issues of common interest. Both officially- and self-diagnosed individuals are welcome!
The ASD Adults meeting takes place the 4th Sunday of each month at 4:00 PM. ~RSVPs are recommended, but not required; however, meetings with insufficient ~RSVPs are subject to last-minute cancellation at the discretion of the host. The current location is:

Our mission is to provide self-directed support for all members of the autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) community, especially those diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (AS) or high-functioning autism (HFA). We welcome the involvement of adults on the spectrum, as well as spouses, partners, caretakers, teachers, clinicians, and other professionals who share our vision of empowerment and self-determination for everyone within the ASD community.

The ASD Political Action Committee is focused on autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) issues throughout Nevada, with a special focus on those issues that impact northern Nevada residents with Asperger's Syndrome (AS). The ASD PAC exists to ensure that the members of the ASD community have a seat at the table in the crafting of public policy.
As a spectrum disorder, Asperger's Syndrome is closely related to other forms of ASD such as Autistic Disorder, but the needs of the AS population are often different from those of our cousins on the spectrum. Our mission is therefore to provide a political voice to adults on the spectrum who are not currently served by a limited political focus on early childhood development.
We are working to raise the visibility of AS, both within the ASD community itself and within the public consciousness. We welcome the participation of individuals and groups who share our goals, and who have an interest in ensuring that the needs of the Asperger's Syndrome community are served by the growing public awareness of autism in general.

Normally, as you click on the links in TiddlyWiki, more and more tiddlers are displayed on the page. The order of this tiddler display depends upon when and where you have clicked. Some people like this non-linear method of reading the document, while others have reported that when many tiddlers have been opened, it can get somewhat confusing. SinglePageModePlugin allows you to configure TiddlyWiki to navigate more like a traditional multipage web site with only one item displayed at a time.

When the plugin is enabled, only one tiddler will be displayed at a time and the browser window's titlebar is updated to include the current tiddler title. The browser's location URL is also updated with a 'permalink' for the current tiddler so that it is easier to create a browser 'bookmark' for the current tiddler. Alternatively, even when displaying multiple tiddlers //is// permitted, you can still reduce the potential for confusion by forcing tiddlers to always open at the top (or bottom) of the page instead of being displayed following the tiddler containing the link that was clicked.
